Imran Ahmad is a seasoned operating executive and investor with deep roots in venture-backed technology, fintech, and healthcare sectors. He holds a BA in Economics and an MBA in Strategic Management and Entrepreneurship from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business— where he led teams to win the 2012 New Venture Challenge and the VC/PE Lab Investment Prize, both prestigious entrepreneurial accolades.

As General Manager at Bitso Business since December 2023, Imran oversees the fintech platform enabling seamless cross-border payments using blockchain technology across the Americas. Backed by top-tier investors (QED, Tiger Global, Coatue), he leads strategy, growth, and global partnerships—empowering global enterprises to transact across Mexico, Brazil, Colombia, Argentina, and the U.S.

Imran actively advises and invests in early-stage startups across industries, including Genvid, Kyte, SureApp, Clearstep, Uptok, Third Eye Health, SafeRate, Barti, and Oooh!. His mentorship and strategic counsel help these companies refine go-to-market strategies, scale operations, and raise capital.

Imran also serves as a General Partner at QED Investors and held senior positions in private equity and investment banking. He also founded a healthcare IT startup, where he combined product vision with operational scale—demonstrating his ability to build data-first companies and guide them through venture funding and market growth.

As a co-founder and advisor since December 2023, Imran supports Fynite’s vision to deliver enterprise-grade AI automation. He shapes go-to-market strategy, growth priorities, and investor relationships.
